All the projects and designs gathered on this site have a direct or indirect connection to the work of Mortt. The love for people and things have lead to this scrapbook, this portfolio, this rhythm of heart, these floating clouds. Just like well chosen words can lead to pleasure, perhaps even to some kind of intellectual addiction, so can the refinement of imagery.
NEW | During autumn I collected the fallen leafs from my small two year old Ginkgo tree. I dried them in books. Their various shapes and sizes proved to be the perfect canvas for bird drawings. A book about many birds and one particular tree.
This project emerged from my respect for nature - its beauty, balance and complexity - and the joy found in drawing, in capuring the world not how it is but how it is perceived.
